Characteristic

Arecur® contains a biologically active substance consisting of exogenous immune peptides with anti-infective, anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties. In contact with the body's immune compounds on mucous membranes, in Peyer's patches, lymphatic foci, immune peptides provide an additional resource to fight infections and tumors.

Anti-infective peptides defensins have a strong antibacterial and antiviral effect, in particular by activating membrane receptors and as a consequence - preventing the penetration of viruses into the cell through the membrane surface.

Regenerating peptides of the RJP class inhibit inflammatory mediators and promote harmonious regeneration of damaged tissues. T-lymphocytes and macrophages, contact and interact with exogenous peptides - thus in the target organ significantly increases the likelihood of detection and destruction of infected or atypical cells that carry the risk of malignant transformation.

Exogenous peptides can not only increase the effectiveness of antitumor immunity, but also independently inhibit the proliferation of malignant cells, including by triggering the mechanisms of their programmed death (apoptosis).

 

Recommendations for use

Immunosuppressive conditions and intoxications due to infectious-inflammatory processes and neoplasms, after the use of antibiotics, anticancer drugs and radiation therapy.

Benign and malignant neoplasms of different localizations. Neutropenic fever. Chronic diseases of the genitourinary system, which are accompanied by suppression of immunity, namely: pyelonephritis, cystitis, chronic prostatitis, prostate adenoma, genital herpes, papillomavirus infection, cervical dysplasia, endometriosis, leukoplakia, bacterial vaginosis, kraurosis.

Chronic neuroinfections and multifactorial diseases of the nervous system.

Chronic diseases of the abdominal cavity, which are accompanied by suppression of immunity: erosive gastritis, gastric ulcer, nonspecific ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, polyposis, chronic hepatitis of various etiologies.

Chronic respiratory diseases: sinusitis, tonsillitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Diseases of the musculoskeletal system: arthritis, bursitis, osteomyelitis, osteoarthritis; as maintenance therapy after fractures and surgery.

Skin diseases: papillomavirus infection, herpes, diffuse streptoderma, chronic dermatoses. Trophic ulcers on the background of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities, diabetic foot syndrome.

Chronic fatigue syndrome and asthenic conditions after exercise, stress, heart attack, stroke, surgery, poisoning and exposure to ionizing radiation.

Anti-relapse immunocorrection with the use of Arecur® is fully compatible with antibiotics and antivirals, improves the tolerability of chemotherapeutics.

 

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. History of allergic reactions. The drug is not used in children under 12 years of age.

 

Method of application and dosage

1 ampoule of 2 ml 2 times a day intramuscularly for 20 days. After 7-10 days of a break prescribed by a doctor, the course can be repeated. Warning! Prior to intramuscular administration, 2 ml of Arecur® should be diluted in 2 ml of anesthetic suitable for the patient (Arecur®: anesthetic = 1: 1), shaken thoroughly several times before administration to form a homogeneous diffusion suspension; it is recommended to carry out introduction within 1 day in various buttocks; the drug should be injected deep into the muscle smoothly and slowly. In isolated cases, 48 ​​- 72 hours after the first administration of the drug may have general disorders caused by activation of the immune system: subfebrile fever, aches in the body. Such symptoms go away on their own and do not require special measures.

Chronic respiratory diseases: sinusitis, tonsillitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Chronic fatigue syndrome and asthenic conditions after exercise, stress, heart attack, stroke, surgery, poisoning and exposure to ionizing radiation. Anti-relapse immunocorrection with the use of Arecur® is fully compatible with antibiotics and antivirals, improves the tolerability of chemotherapeutics. 
Arecur® is usually taken –  1 capsule 2 times a day, washed down with water, for 1 hour or 2 hours after a meal, for 30 - 60 days; in the period of exacerbation of chronic diseases - 2 capsules 2 times a day for 15 days. To maintain liver function and prevent fibrosis Arecur® is prescribed 1 capsule 2 times a day for 60 days. To increase the effectiveness of treatment of chronic respiratory diseases Arecur® is recommended to take from the first days of exacerbation 1 capsule 2 times a day for at least 30 days. The course of antirelapse immunocorrection is carried out 2 - 4 times a year, depending on the individual characteristics of the patient. It is recommended to consult a doctor before using antirelapse immunocorrection. Important: to achieve the desired effect, the prescribed course of the drug Arecur® must be completed. The drug should not be discontinued, even if the patient's condition has significantly improved or the symptoms of the disease have decreased. Immunogram monitoring is recommended.
